SharePoint doesn't provide the Week() function to enable applying the same procedure described in this article. Also, there is more than one variation to deal with a week. You may need the past 7 days which is just a comparison between [Today] systems' date and Created + 7, for example. If you need to filter from last Monday to the previous Monday, you can apply the Weekday function which is a bit complicated but if you understood the example you would be able to do it. You can find an example of the usage of that function in another article in this blog.

Hi, thanks for this. It works great at the moment. However, do you know how it handles Januarys?
ReplyDeleteAFAICS it depends on whether, by adding one to the month, SharePoint rolls the year forward if the month equals 12/December. Any ideas?
Thanks.
I am sorry for the late response as I was not notified on your comment and came across it accidentally.
ReplyDeleteI had done some testing and apparently SharePoint handles correctly the months around the year start.
I've posted about the same technique on my blog and examples for the current week/year

Great post...but i was wondering I'm having a hard time figuring out 'last 3 months' instead of just 'last month'. Is that something that can be done?
